i think the 4th quarter was pretty obvious what we can do in this series when chauncey, melo, and the bench is simply playing to their level. we have only shown we can do it for 1 freaking quarter of this series. or else, this possibly could have been a sweep... even without that we are 2 boneheaded inbound passes short of a possible sweep.pretty crazy to think about Not really. The only reason this is so surprising is becuase we got extremely good very fast. We severly outplayed LA in game 1-- lost becuase of Kobe bail-out and inexperience mistakes. We didn't show-up the first 18 minutes of game 2 and yet still won-- despite a very good Kobe 4th. We lost game 3 - one of our worst shooting games of the season-including multiple blown transition plays. And Kobe bailing the Lakers out in the 4th. We had a blow out in game 4 despite a horrible offensive game from Melo-- and survived another excellent 4th quarter from Bryant. Any nuetral observer can see that 1) we are much more physical inside (and we should have known that before) 2)We are more athletic 3) We play far superior defense 4) We can initiate the offense from multiple points, whereas the Lakers lack direction and versatility in how they begin offense and playmake. We are the better passing team, the stronger team, the quicker team, the more sefless team, cover much more ground defensively and we are more alert. And sometime hopefully, we will show we are the better shooting team. The Lakers biggest advantage, their length is negated by those things. Most teams are scared of the Lakers. We are the better team there is no doubt and we should be up 3-1 ready to close it out.

^^^^ the 49 free throws really helped us as well.... and their inability to make their free throws helped us alot... also the fact that our bigs didnt get into foul trouble by pushing around their bigs like rag dolls

Awesome win, melo played like s**t and everyone steped up in his place, show's alot about this team. Kmart had a tech in this game, is that his 6th?, if that's right then he needs to stfu and just play from now on. Nugs can't afford to lose him and he needs to be smarter then that.
Series now a best of 3, take one more in la boy's and close it out in denver.

Glad the benched showed up tonight, especially with Melo hurting. Can't believe the Nugs out rebounded them by 18 boards! Nugs bigs really got the job done tonight. Hopefully, they can keep it up for the next game and stay active on the boards. The bench play and the bigs won the game for us tongiht. I never would've thought that we could dominate them on the glass like that. Do that twice more and we're in the finals.

Jackson seriously bitching about the officiating now in his postgame... I am old enough to remember Jackson as a player. He makes Jones look like an Eagle Scout.

But the ref's, oh god. They going to call petty quick fouls early Jones will foul out in the warm ups.
