Ron Paul should do his state of the unions via twitter, then he'd really be hip and cool.

I don't think Ron Paul even understand what freedom is. His entire campaign seems centered on appealing to the disenfranchised people in society... people that are more likely to believe the government is involved in a massive number of conspiracies to control the masses.

Ron Paul's like a stopped watch. He's right twice a day, but has no idea what's going on the rest of the time.

his entire campaign centers around conspiracy theorists apparently. im not sure where u could get such a jaded and ridiculous opinion, other than fox news or discussions with ignorant republicans (who probably watch fox news anyway).

specifically when it comes to politics (but really all aspects of life) i ask u to do some research and then make decisions for yourself. just seems weird to me people can blindly follow or take a stance without any sort of knowledge or understanding. i mean pretending to know something that u really have no idea about is lame. ignorance is bliss i guess.

Only the clearly uninformed would make a post like that. I suggest reading some of his books.

Ron Paul just seems so fake to me. I feel like he is just some old racist a****** who has failed at becoming president for over 20 years now, and is trying so hard to do what he can to appeal to the masses(which is apparently now the young generation, as that worked for Obama). But if he were to ever actually get elected, we're all fucked.

Yeah, Ron Paul really tries to appeal to the masses with his unpopular stances - what a joke. He's so fake he has been saying the same thing for over 30 years. As far as the racism goes, he's not racist. Many black people support him because he is the one guy who points out that the War on Drugs has, in many respects, been a war on black people.

Yes, you were clearly referring to his racism toward whites or another group. Weak. Racism is a very serious subject and allegations of it should not be tossed around without any facts, of which you have none.

I was referring to some of his comments regarding hispanics and immigration. But he has made some against blacks as well, if that's more important. Ron Paul - "Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks three days after rioting began."

If you had done your research, you would discover that Ron Paul never made those statements. They were published in his newsletter, but he did not make comment as you erroneously aver. In fact, when he discovered the despicable comments in his newsletter, he sharply condemned those comments.

In his 30 years in public life, nobody had ever heard him make a single racist comment. As a libertarian, he eschews all forms of collectivism and considers racism to be the lowest form of collectivism.

Next time you quote someone as making a racist comment, I hope you try to verify if that person actually made that statement.

Yeah, I can't blame you for being skeptical, but no way would I support him if I thought that he was racist in the least. I looked into the matter very closely and believe that he is anything but racist.

I'm so sick of the counterproductive wars, the failed war on drugs, the corporate welfare and the erosion of our civil liberties. For these causes, there is no finer champion than Ron Paul.

Love all the RP groupies come out in groves when you disagree.

I don't ever watch Fox News or listen to any type of conservative programs, unless I want a good laugh.

Ron Paul is either racist or the most naive person on the planet imo.

all this guy does is promote the constitution and wants to keep our liberties. you are worried about a randomly racist (yet undeniably true) news letter NOT written by him from 30 something years ago. amazing how people buy such ridiculous "spin".

how is ron paul fake? that is the silliest thing ive heard. how can any democrat OR republican say that? [image]

Right on Pac. Ron Paul has been saying the same things for over 30 years, even when he knows it is clearly to his political detriment to do so. If one doesn't like his positions, that's one thing. To attempt to characterize him as fake is, at best, silly.
