I like 2 QB, depending on league size. Last year it kind of sucked because we had too many people, my QBs sucked, and then cam hoarded like 5 QBs away on his bench. But in a 10 team league it shouldn't be too big of a deal.

It's just pointless to me how only 10 of the 32 QBs even get played each week in the regular format...and the top 10 QBs in the NFL are usually pretty good, and pretty comparable number wise. So it's like the spot becomes irrelevant, except during the one week each year where your top QB is on a bye and you have to use the backup.

It adds extra strategy to the game IMO, and changes how people have to draft. So instead of whatever people get the top picks and therefore getting to draft the best running backs first, and always winning...you get to see the other people end up with better QB talent, and the guy with Peterson and Johnson having Jason Campbell and Trent Edwards, to balance things out.

if guys like jamarcus or brady quinn are in play week to week, its absolutely stupid. it IS "fantasy" football after all. agreed with 10 teams. didnt we have like 16 teams last year? it was awful.

If my counting skills haven't failed me again, that should be 9, right?

Won't be an issue if we get 12 or 14 teams.

Lefty, it says you renewed the league from last year. I wasn't even aware of it until just now. The draft is waaaaaaay too soon.

Yeah I reactivated that one but it seemed kind of funky because it still had everyone's players on their teams. So then I emptied the rosters, but then they were all free agents. I have no idea how it works when you reactivate an old league. So I gave up and then I just created a new league with the same settings, which I linked on the previous page.

Draft date can be set later once we actually get everyone to join whatever league we're going to use.

It still looks like the renewed league is active.

Ok invites sent to all the people who said they would play in this thread(so basically everyone that posted in here, with the exception of Phonz, because he is ghey).

I sent it to whatever email you have listed on your profile on here. If that email doesn't work for you, please pm me whatever email works and ill resend it.

If everyone joins we'll have 11. So 1-3 more people still needed.

Ok let me know if you guys get the invite or not. I put all the emails in and hit send...and it listed everyone as invited, but apparently people didn't get them. I tried again, hopefully it worked.

I was trying to reactivate the league from last year but it was too much work so I gave up. Someone else can run the league this year.

I set up this league a couple weeks ago. Same basic settings as last year's league, just added a few random scoring categories.

We can use that if people want. Would just need emails to send out the invites....again. (that's the only thing I hate about ESPN, having to send invites via email, instead of just letting people join using a password)

I was being lazy then(got halfway through it and gave up)...and I still find the whole gathering emails and sending invites to be a huge hassle/pain in my ass....but the rest of you are slackers, and it was never going to get done if I didn't do it.

Let's start getting some suggestions for a draft time as well.

We usually do Sunday evenings, or in the case of the baseball and basketball drafts, during a a sporting event which many will be at home watching.

How about Sun, Aug 29, sometime between 6 and 9 mst? The Broncos are playing the Steelers that night, and it's on fox. Unless any of you are actually going to that game?
